I would like to share a little bit about our experience that lead to the establishment of Envision One. Envision One, LLC was established in January 2011 about two years after the death of a little boy in my neighborhood. When this tragedy happened, my husband and I did not know that this little boy was very close friends with our two sons. We knew the boys were friends and that our home was this little boy's home away from home. I will be the first to say, sometimes, when raising children, we, as parents, do not always know every aspect of our child's life, no matter how young or old they are and nor do we always have an immediate answer when our children experience tragedies. But, it is those experiences in that moment in time, when parents are faced with the challenges of not knowing what to do; that they find an answer or make decisions that change the course of their lives forever. This is what happened to my family and we decided then to be a positive part of the evolution of children and families in our community. We want to make a difference where it matters most and this is the reason we created this agency.
All of our staff completed a minimum of a bachelor's degree in the human services field. Having a variation of knowledge and experience will help you and the person you care about successfully deal with tragedies and assist you through the stages of change towards a better and healthier lifestyle.
